The life is to be lived with balance, with more you have, better you will live.

The art of living happily and well for me comes from paying attention and accepting the reality of the moment. --- Really listening to others when they speak and hearing the myriad sounds of the world. Really seeing people's joy and pain as well as all the beauty that surrounds me. Tasting, smelling, touching, immersing myself in this life, today. Responding with compassion to make the world a better place today and perhaps tomorrow. Finding good teachers and learning their lessons; being an honorable and patient teacher myself.

What I had hoped for, what used to be, what I expected--let those things go and accept the reality of the way things are. I ask myself: Do I have enough? The answer is always yes. (But there always seems to be room for more love.)
