Your thoughts on 'Cosmic Symphony':

(Submitted by Paul Carney, England)

A wonderful article, that strikes a chord of truth with me as I have long been angered by the scientific world's ignorance of spirituality. Whilst not a religious person myself I am however, very familiar with it. It would be a wonderful world if all humans were more awakened, myself included. However, the real flaw in the perception that this could be an evolutionary evolvement for humanity, in my opinion, is that higher levels of consciousness take a huge amount of discipline and dedication to achieve.

When placed in a religious framework, this higher level of thinking is more readily achievable as the belief forms the focal point. But then, as we all know from history, religion is flawed, perhaps some might argue, corrupt. Religion tried and failed to awaken the human mind en masse.

And since this awakened mind state has been around since the dawn of man and is not radically inherent in the mass population, it seems to me that the awakened mind is not an easily achievable state. Until Science can 'bottle' it and sell it on ebay for the price of a pint of beer, then it won't develop into mainstream evolution.

For many, perhaps most, life is the pursuit of personal gratification. If higher consciousness can be gotten, perhaps it should be implanted at birth on the NHS.
