Dreams can be one way of talking to someone who's passed on, but it only happens when you're experiencing lucid dreaming. I've read an article at www.tryvod.com which gives the facts on dream theory and about how some people have experienced déja vu in their dreams, women more than men.

A personal maxim of mine:
"The most important things to me are life (to keep me on this incredible planet to experience its beauty for as long as I can),
love (so I can share that experience with someone and know what it is to truly care), and dreams (so I have something to look forward to and something to look back from).
Thanks to Stephen Fry for pointing me in the direction of this site.
