"The Church says; The body is a sin. Science says: The body is a machine. Advertising says: The body is a business. The body says: I am a fiesta." After naming the thieves who have attempted to steal our bodies, Eduardo Galeano, the author of this poem, gives the body the last word, "I am a fiesta." A celebration, a wonderful song, a dance of many rhythms and moods. The body is both the party and the gift we bring to the party. Perhaps the only real synonym for body is life.

When we are most alive, we are beautiful. When we are in love, we are reminded that we are beautiful. And sometimes when we know we are beautiful, we find ourselves in love.

‘In love’ usually means the romantic sense of being with another person who in that moment we feel reflects us perfectly. In love, living in the field of love.
